Programs
The Powerful Means has grown to encompass an academic track, a campus-wide student services club and several other initiatives. Each component of PMI facilitates student involvement and puts their skills, experience and passion to work in partner communities for research, ideation, prototyping and implementation. From fighting poverty to promoting economic prosperity, students collaborate on ventures that move from ideas to implementation.
We believe that good leadership is about more than financial success—it’s about making a meaningful impact. That’s why every project within the Powerful Means Initiative is tracked not just by traditional metrics, but by how many lives are touched, how deeply communities are transformed and how sustainable the solutions become. Together, these components drive impact for both Notre Dame students and partners alike through fully-funded travel experiences, on- and off-campus events, student jobs and fellowships, guest speakers and project funding opportunities. Through this initiative, students are challenged to lead with purpose, exploring how business can serve as a force for good.
